1. Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Coffee with Ginseng

Oh, yes, we did. The Colombia version of Good Morning Sunshine™ is nutty with hints of caramel, making it a perfect match for this year’s hottest iced coffee drink! (The slightly smoky and chocolatey notes of the Guatemalan version is also a nice fit.)

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 freshly brewed cup of Good Morning Sunshine™

1-2 teaspoons light brown sugar (to taste)

½ cup oat milk or your favorite milk

Ice

Dash of cinnamon if desired

Instructions

Add your freshly prepared coffee to a cocktail shaker or a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Stir in the brown sugar while still warm, so it can dissolve. Add the oat milk and ice, then shake to combine. The coffee should be cooled and slightly frothy. Strain, pour over a cup with fresh ice and sip immediately. Add the cinnamon if desired.

2. Iced Coffee with Cardamom and Ginseng

The ginseng in Good Morning Sunshine™ does more than fight fatigue and help you manage stress in the long run.* It also lends an earthy, spicy finish that elevates your morning brew. Here, it’s tasty with cardamom.

Serves 1

Ingredients

1-2 teaspoons sweetener of choice (to taste)

¼ teaspoon ground cardamom

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup milk of your choice

1 freshly brewed cup of Good Morning Sunshine™

Ice

Dash of cardamom if desired

Instructions

Add your sweetener to a large glass, then stir in the cardamom and vanilla. Add ice, then your milk. Pour in the coffee and stir to combine. Add the extra cardamom if desired.

3. Golden Milk Coffee

This nicely spiced beverage combines coffee with that Ayurvedic favorite, golden milk. Feel free to get creative with the spice blend — cardamom, cloves and ginger are also tasty additions or swaps for the cocoa (not traditional but tasty nonetheless). Brew over ice if desired!

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 ½ teaspoons coconut oil

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/2 teaspoon maca powder (optional)

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 ½ teaspoons honey or maple syrup

1 cup milk of your choice

1 freshly brewed cup of Good Morning Sunshine™

Instructions

Place a small pot over medium heat. Add the coconut oil and stir until it melts. Once melted, whisk in the cocoa, turmeric, maca, cinnamon and honey or maple syrup. Once combined, whisk in the milk and bring to a simmer. Do not let it boil. Stir in the brewed coffee, and serve immediately.

4. Zesty Orange Coffee Spritzer

For those mornings when you crave something a little “extra,” keep this spritzer in mind. It’s zesty and refreshing.

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 freshly brewed cup of Good Morning Sunshine™

1 teaspoon agave nectar

Splash orange blossom water (or a wedge of orange, freshly squeezed)

1 cup orange seltzer water

Ice

Orange slices, for garnish

Instructions

Fill a cup with ice and add your Good Morning Sunshine™. Add the agave and orange blossom water, and stir to combine. Top with the orange seltzer and garnish. Serve immediately.

5. Nutty Banana-Coffee Smoothie

Combine coffee with breakfast by using Good Morning Sunshine™ as the basis for a tasty smoothie. To give it more staying power (and to fight hunger along with fatigue), add a serving of your favorite protein powder.*

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 freshly brewed cup of Good Morning Sunshine™ (cooled)

1 large banana

1/2 cup plant-based or dairy milk

¼ cup rolled oats or 1 serving protein powder

1 tablespoon nut butter

Instructions

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth. Serve immediately.

6. Coffee Lemonade

This combo might sound a bit unusual, but it’s incredibly delicious! Popular in Portugal and now elsewhere in Europe, “lemon coffee” is refreshing in summer. Use sparkling lemonade if you prefer a fizzy drink.

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 freshly brewed cup of Good Morning Sunshine™ (cooled)

¼ to 1/2 cup lemonade

Ice

Lemon wedge to garnish

Instructions

Fill a cup with ice, then carefully pour the coffee over top. Add ¼ cup of the lemonade, stir and taste. Add the remaining lemonade if desired. Garnish with a lemon and sip.
